The face behind the letters
Hi, I'm Dianne – a mum of 2, a life-long creative & the owner of Lilys Attic, a Sydney christening boutique. I'm also a huge believer in the magic of reading with kids.
Over the years, I’ve chatted with many mums & noticed a common challenge – getting kids to read & enjoy reading in today’s digital world.
That's how Lilys Adventure Letters was born. My hope is to make reading fun & to ignite a touch of creativity & curiosity in the minds of little people.
Each letter is designed to spark imaginative thinking & start meaningful conversations – all whilst helping kids explore new ideas and get them interested in learning ... priceless!
So I hope these letters inspire kids to dream big & embrace their creativeness, just as I have.

Frequently asked questions
Can I manage my own account?
Yes, you can log into My Lilys Adventure Letter Subscription and manage all your details. Any questions? Just email us at info@lilysattic.com.au.
What age are the letters for?
So we recommend our Adventure Letters for kids approximately 6-12yrs old. However, there may be some 6yr olds that aren't quite ready or will need some assistance - and perhaps some 12yr olds that may feel too old for them. Basically, you know your child best ... so up to you to make the call! Why not sign up for a few months, and if you feel it's not right for your child, you can cancel any time.
When is my letter billed?
All letters billed on the 20th. First billing is when you sign-up, then on the 20th of each month.
Eg - if you sign up on Jul 5th, you will be charged on Jul 5th and Jul 20th. If you sign up on Jul 28th, you will be charged on Jul 28th and Aug 20th.
Will my letters auto-renew?
Yes, each month your subscription will renew automatically unless you cancel before your next billing cycle.
When is my letter mailed?
Letters are sent at the end of the month. If you subscribe between the 1st and 20th,
you will receive the current letter. If you subscribe after the 20th, you will receive the next months letter.
Eg if you sign up on Jul 10th, you will be sent the June letter upon sign-up, then at the end of the month, you will be sent the July letter.
Can I track my letter?
All letters are sent via Australia Post using a postage stamp, so no tracking is available.
What if I don't receive my letter?
Our Adventure Letters are sent all over the world. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee a delivery date and occasionally, a letter may get lost in transport. Please allow 7-10 days (AUS residents) from the mailing date to receive your letter and 17-21 days for international. If it hasn't arrived by then, contact us info@lilysattic.com.au to have another one sent out to you.
Can I cancel any time?
We'd hate to see you go, but yes, you can cancel any time. Just log into your account to cancel.
Do you post the letters internationally?
Yes! We post our letters all around the world.
